QWANSER
A SOCIAL QUESTION & ANSWER APP CONCEPT
ROLE
CHIEF EXPERIENCE TINKERER

DESIGN STATEMENT
Over a holiday break, my buddy and I came up with this "hot-or-not"-style concept which featured bite-size, quick-to-engage interactions.

To increase engagement efficiency, I devised a feature that integrated Google Images as users asked questions, negating the need for them to have to upload an image. Speedy!

The project didn't get very far due to time constraints, but I had a blast fleshing out the concept, devising workflows, creating a brand and palette, and exercising my animation chops.

DESIGNING FOR ENGAGEMENT

This app's success hinged on getting users to ASK questions. To lead visitors to the primary goal, I designed the splash screen so it becomes the ASK button upon load.
KEEP IT MOVING
LOGIN ANIMATIC
These are rough experiments in transition animations. I designed it so the LOG IN button transitions into the user's PROFILE button.

This animation was created using Adobe Animate and used to articulate flow with the engineer. It does not represent the speed of the implemented work.
